I always enjoy photographing weddings at Bedford Lodge because the Suffolk venue provides so many attractive backdrops for pictures. Newmarket’s racehorses might even make an appearance in your wedding photographs as the hotel sits next to some stables in the racing town.

The hotel, which has parts dating back to the 17th century, caters for between 10 and 150 guests. Groups can dine in one of three self-contained banqueting suites. Alternatively, couples can chose to have a BBQ or afternoon tea in the pretty grounds. Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa is close to Cambridge and is also easily accessible from London.
