Bedford Lodge Wedding Venue

Bedford Lodge wedding venue is a luxury wedding hotel in Newmarket, Suffolk. The Wedding Industry Awards has twice awarded the hotel the prize of best town or city wedding venue in East Anglia. And I understand why. The beautiful white hotel and lovely rose garden make a stunning setting for your wedding day. I always enjoy photographing weddings at Bedford Lodge because the Suffolk venue provides so many attractive backdrops for pictures. Newmarket’s racehorses might even make an appearance in your wedding photographs as the hotel sits next to some stables in the racing town.

The hotel, which has parts dating back to the 17th century, caters for between 10 and 150 guests. Groups can dine in one of three self-contained banqueting suites. Alternatively, couples can chose to have a BBQ or afternoon tea in the pretty grounds. Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa is close to Cambridge and is also easily accessible from London.

A real treat at Bedford Lodge is the relaxing spa, which has a 5 bubble rating by the Good Spa Guide. It boasts a hydrotherapy pool, rooftop hot tub, steam room and sauna. The spa offers special bridal packages for the bride and her bridesmaids as well as a quiet space for the groom to relax before the big day.

Suffolk wedding photographer Gregg Brown offers a range of packages to suit your day starting at just £499. Click here to see Gregg’s wedding photography prices.
